Main uses.

1. Mainly used in powder coatings, also used in thermosetting coatings, fiber treatment agents, adhesives, antistatic agents, vinyl chloride stabilizers, rubber and resin modifiers, ion exchange resins and binders for printing inks.

2. Used as a functional monomer for polymerization reaction. Mainly used in the manufacture of acrylic powder coatings, as a soft monomer and methyl methacrylate and styrene and other hard monomers copolymerization, can adjust the glass transition temperature and flexibility, improve the gloss, adhesion and weather resistance of the coating film, etc.. It is also used in the manufacture of acrylic emulsions and non-woven fabrics. As a functional monomer, it can be used to manufacture photographic resins, ion exchange resins, chelating resins, selective filtration membranes for medical use, dental materials, anti-coagulants, insoluble adsorbents, etc. It is also used for modification of polyolefin resins, rubber and synthetic fibers.

3. Because it contains both carbon-carbon double bond and epoxy group in its molecule, it is widely used in the synthesis and modification of polymer materials. It is used as active diluent of epoxy resin, stabilizer of vinyl chloride, modifier of rubber and resin, ion exchange resin and binder of printing ink. It is also used in powder coatings, thermosetting coatings, fiber treatment agents, adhesives, antistatic agents, etc. In addition, the improvement of GMA on adhesive, water resistance and solvent resistance of adhesive and non-woven coating is also very significant.

4. In electronics, it is used for photoresist film, electron wire, protective film, far-infrared phase X-ray protective film. In functional polymers, it is used for ion exchange resin, chelating resin, etc. In medical materials, it is used for anti-blood coagulation materials, dental materials, etc.

Properties and Stability.

Avoid contact with acids, oxides, UV radiation, free radical initiators. Almost soluble in all organic solvents, insoluble in water, slightly toxic.

Storage method.

Store in a cool, ventilated warehouse. Keep away from fire and heat source. Storage temperature should not exceed 30℃. Keep away from light. Should be stored separately from acids and oxidizing agents, and should not be mixed. Use explosion-proof lighting and ventilation facilities. Prohibit the use of spark-prone machinery and tools. The storage area should be equipped with leakage emergency treatment equipment and suitable shelter materials.
